Accident Advantage

If you’re injured in an accident and see a doctor or emergency department within 72 hours, you get gold tier hospital cover for related treatments for up to 90 days.
Submit the Accident Advantage form within 21 days and your hospital excess for the related admission is waived.

That’s practical protection when the unexpected happens.

Access Gap Cover

Planning a hospital procedure? Ask your surgeon, anaesthetist and assistant surgeon to bill under Access Gap Cover. Doctors who participate either charge no gap or a known gap capped at up to $500 per doctor per admission and $800 for obstetrics, with written Informed Financial Consent. Latrobe Health participates in the AHSA Access Gap scheme, so doctors can opt in on an episode-by-episode basis.

The ask is simple. Request Access Gap, get the quote in writing, and confirm all assisting doctors are included. That’s how you avoid bill shock.

No gap pathology and radiology

From 1 August 2024, pathology and radiology performed during a private hospital admission are covered under Latrobe Health’s national MPPA agreements, so you don’t wear those separate bills. Collectively Latrobe Health members have saved more than $1.8 million thanks to our no gap pathology and radiology agreements.
