InstantScripts is Australia’s largest digital medical clinic. It is wholly owned by Wesfarmers, a publicly listed company, and is part of the Wesfarmers Health division. Instantscripts offers access to AHPRA registered and Australian-based doctors within minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Instantscripts Pilot Promotion is a program where Latrobe Health Services provides funds to support fully subsidized General Practitioner Telehealth appointments through the Instantscripts platform for a limited time to a limited cohort of members.

Participation is by invitation only. Discount codes are distributed to a select group of members based on different age brackets, income levels, and geographic locations.

At this point the pilot is limited to only those who have received emails providing a discount code. In the future we may roll out access to this service via your extras product.

We are testing the value of the Instantscripts platform for our members. By targeting different demographics, we can gather valuable insights on its effectiveness and usefulness.

Section 55.15 of the Private Health Insurance Act allows a fund to pilot initiatives without breaching community rating.

The subsidized appointments are available for a limited period between the 15th of June to the 15th of September 2025.

Yes, anyone who is active on a participating membership can use the discount code and receive fully subsidised General Practitioner Telehealth services provided by Instantscripts.

The promotion covers fully subsidized General Practitioner Telehealth services provided by Instantscripts. On the Instantscripts portal this is shown as “Doctors Consults”.

If Latrobe Health enables benefits for two telehealth services per membership for all 35,000 Extras members, we would provide over 80,000 GP appointments across Australia with zero out-of-pocket costs. As part of this pilot we want to understand if doing so adds value for our members.

Our members would save $40 per appointment in gap fees when looking at the average gap for a GP visit.

To be eligible for the promotion, you must:

• Reside in Australia.
• Have been identified as a trial participant membership by Latrobe Health Services.
• Have received a referral code directly from Latrobe Health Services offering access to Instantscripts.
• Not be a director, officer, management, or employee of the Promoter or its related entities, and must not have any immediate family members who are employees of the Promoter or its related entities.

Upon signing up for the Instantscripts service, eligible persons will need to agree to the Instantscripts Terms and Conditions.

This promotion is limited to eligible persons listed on an identified trial participant membership and cannot be used by non-eligible persons. Latrobe Health Services may refuse subsidization for non-eligible persons.

Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes, or modifies your rights under Australian Consumer Law or similar laws, including implied warranties and protections against unfair practices. These rights are referred to as "Non-Excludable Obligations".
