In July 2021, Latrobe Health Services launched its vaccination campaign in Gippsland and regional Victoria. For us, this is about our members’ and our community’s safety and wellbeing.  We’ve partnered with other business leaders in our community to encourage you to act to protect yourself, your family and your community.

Why vaccination?

Getting vaccinated is a personal decision but having access to the best health advice is key to making an informed decision. Through the Latrobe campaign, we are encouraging the community to seek advice from their GP and vaccinate to protect themselves and their community from COVID-19.

We believe that the pathway out of the pandemic is simple. We need everyone who can get vaccinated to be vaccinated.

Who is eligible to be vaccinated?

Everyone in Australia over the age of 12 years can receive a free COVID-19 vaccine, even if you are not an Australian citizen or permanent resident. This includes people without a Medicare card, overseas visitors, international students, migrant workers and asylum seekers.

Regardless of which state or territory in Australia you live in, to find out when and where you can receive a COVID-19 vaccine, book an appointment if you are eligible, or register your interest, please visit the Australian Government's Vaccine Eligibility Checker Tool

Where to get advice?

The best source of advice on the COVID-19 vaccine is your GP. They will be able to give individual advice as well as address any questions or concerns you may have. More general information is available on the Victorian Government and federal Health Department websites.
