That is protection for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. An Ambulance Victoria membership covers emergency and non-emergency treatment, pre-hospital care and ambulance transport by road or air and specialist services anywhere in Australia.

A rebate on voluntary ambulance subscription is provided on most of Latrobe’s Extras covers.

Membership with Ambulance Victoria is available to Victorian residents only, as per Ambulance Victoria guidelines.

For policy holders residing in NSW & ACT

As part of the Health Services Levy Act 1988 all registered Health funds are required to pay a levy for members that hold a hospital product and reside in NSW or ACT. This covers you and any dependants listed on your membership, in the event you require emergency transport within your home state.

Queensland

Free ambulance service throughout Australia is provided through the Community Ambulance Cover legislation.

Policy holders residing in Queensland should contact their local state authority regarding ambulance coverage and conditions.

Tasmania

The Tasmanian government provides a free ambulance service to all residents.

Policy holders residing in Tasmania should contact their local state authority regarding ambulance coverage and conditions.

SA, WA and NT

Latrobe policy holders residing in South Australia, West Australia or the Northern Territory will need to take out ambulance cover with their relevant state ambulance service.

Policy holders with extras cover can claim a benefit towards the cost of their ambulance subscription.
